  • What is a "Seller Showcase"?
Seller Showcases are very different from Raid Trains. A Seller Showcase is a show of a specific theme where all sellers are selling items that fit only that theme during their show. These sellers are NOT on a specific schedule so they are able to raid into other sellers whenever they decide to finish their shows.
  • What are the differences between a Raid Train and a Seller Showcase?
In a raid train, participants follow a structured schedule, with each seller starting and ending their show at specific times. At the end of their show, they "raid" their buyers into the next scheduled seller, creating a continuous flow of audience from one seller to the next. On the other hand, seller showcases offer much more flexibility. Sellers can start and end their shows whenever they choose, and instead of being tied to a specific person, they can raid into anyone participating in the same theme. This setup is ideal for sellers who prefer not to adhere to a strict schedule, as well as those who want the freedom to run longer or shorter shows. Seller Showcases provide the perfect balance of community engagement and scheduling flexibility, making them great for sellers who need more control over their timing.
  • What are the benefits of joining a Seller Showcase?
    1. Flexible Scheduling: You have the freedom to start and end your show at any time, allowing you to create a schedule that works for you. 2. Extend or Shorten Your Show: Run your show as long as you want or cut it short if needed—perfect for adjusting to your audience or personal needs. 3. Customizable Raid Options: After your show, you can raid into any seller participating in the same theme, giving you more control over where you send your viewers. 4. Increased Visibility: Buyers searching for themed shows can easily find your stream, helping you attract a more targeted audience interested in what you’re selling. 5. Potential Random Giveaways: Your show may be visited by a Mod or the host, Vizzuals, which can potentially have your items purchased for random giveaways to other show participants*. 6. Tip Opportunities: You could receive "Tip Bombs" or participate in Tip Challenges*, which can add an exciting element to your show and increase your earnings. 7. Raid Traffic: You may receive raids from other sellers finishing their shows with the same theme, sending more traffic and potential buyers your way. 8. Enhanced Community Engagement: Being part of a seller showcase helps you tap into a shared community of buyers and sellers, fostering stronger connections and potentially increasing sales.
  • What are the rules for participating in Seller Showcases?
Create Your Show Promptly: Once you book a spot in a themed show, create your show immediately. This helps ensure you are visible in the lineup and ready for promotion. Use the Official Show Title: Be sure to include the official themed show name in your show title to make it easier for viewers to find you (and easier for me to find you). You can add additional words after the title. For example, if the theme is "National Fashion Week," your title could be "National Fashion Week, All NWT Shoes." Use Official Show Graphics: You must use the official graphics provided for the themed show. These graphics can be found at the raid trains link on Vizzuals.com. Stick to the Theme: Make sure that your show content aligns with the chosen theme. This consistency helps maintain a unified experience for viewers and other participants. Raid into other Seller Showcases: When ending your show, you are required to raid into another show that is also participating in the same theme. If no shows with the same theme are available, consider raiding into someone with a smaller audience to help boost their sales. Welcome Incoming Raids: If another show raids into yours, welcome the viewers and acknowledge the seller who raided you. Encourage your audience to follow them as a gesture of appreciation. Mention Vizzuals (Optional): While it’s not mandatory, it’s helpful to mention your host, "Vizzuals," or "Vizzuals.com" during your show to increase exposure for the platform. Prepare for Random Giveaways: If you want the opportunity for random giveaways during your show, you need to add items to your Buy It Now (BIN) section priced between $1.00 and $5.00. If you don’t have items in that range, you can add something like “Random Room Gift” and ensure the shipping cost is as low as possible. Make sure to list multiple quantities as others may purchase items for giveaways as well. Add Vizzuals as Moderator: If you want the giveaway perks for the shows, it is MANDATORY to add Vizzuals as a moderator for your show. This helps facilitate smoother interactions if the host visits your stream to promote future shows or discuss giveaways. If you do not want outside moderators you can choose to not add Vizzuals as a moderator and still get the promotional perks only. If you prefer not to have these topics discussed, kindly send a private message ahead of time, and it won’t affect your participation.
  • What is a Raid Train?
A raid train on WhatNot or Poshmark is a way for sellers to boost each other's visibility by taking turns hosting live streams. Here's how it works: Sellers Schedule: A group of sellers plans a schedule where each one will go live on a specific date. Normally these shows will have a theme and a specific amount of time that each seller will be live. The first person on the schedule will go live and run their show like a normal show. Stream Promotion: During the show the seller will discuss the raid, talk about the host and sell their items according to the rules of the raid train. When one seller finishes their live stream and at a pre-scheduled time, they promote the next seller’s stream, encouraging viewers to join for the next segment of the raid train. Viewer Transition: As each seller’s stream ends, viewers are directed (Raided) into the next seller in the lineup by using the "Raid" feature instead of ending their show. All of these shows are linked together like a train, keeping the audience engaged and increasing exposure for everyone involved. In essence, a raid train is a collaborative effort to drive more viewers and potential buyers to each seller's stream by keeping the live content flowing and interconnected.
  • How do I schedule a spot on a raid train?
Scheduling is easy. Choose a theme and then click on the date for the theme. This will show you the time slots available for that specific raid train. Choose a time and then you will be directed to fill out a simple form. After you register you will receive an email that will contain all of the rules for that specific raid train and a link to the graphics. You should create your show immediately and use the graphics provided. It is not permitted for you to use other graphics with the exception of the video preview, which is optional. You should also start promoting your show as soon as possible.
  • How should I prepare for the raid train?
A few days before the raid train, a group message will be created on WhatNot (more info later about Poshmark) to help you get ready for your show. A schedule list will be posted so you can follow the train and raid the correct person at the correct time. All times are EASTERN so please make adjustments if necessary. I ask that you NEVER share this list with anyone outside the group because I have a contest during raid trains that can be effected if the list is released (more on this later). Your show will ran as normal except that you will be "raided" by the person before you in the schedule. If you are the first person on the schedule, you will either start yourself or I will do a kick-off and raid into you, depending on the situation for that train. You should have everything prepared for your show ahead of time. You can either pre-load your BIN or run items one by one. That is up to you. You are required to start your show AT LEAST 5 MINUTES EARLY and no more than 15 minutes early. When you are raided you should start your show by thanking the previous seller and then talk about your host. As people to follow them both. If I am the host sometimes I will send you a private message by typing /HIDE and ask if you mind if I can mention this website. I will not be offended if you say no. This is still your show and I don't want to intrude. Another thing that you can do ahead of time is to set up your moderators. I do not require you to add me as a moderator but it is suggested. Other hosts may have other rules. If you are nervous, talk about it in the group message. It is totally natural to be nervous, but preparing for the show ahead of time will help you feel better about the flow.
