You set the tone for the chat. Ask questions..... where are you all from....what are your plans for the weekend.....ready for the holidays....for me I ask what type of jewelry they are looking for today......would they like a show specific to rings (etc). Greet everyone as they come. Greet first time buyers. I ask my regular buyers in the room to greet them as well. Ask if they are sellers and if so, I permit the exchange of shows to everyone, especially someone new to the chat.
