California Sellers Group

So, I am a fairly new seller and would like to introduce myself.

My name is Bobbie, and I use MrsBobbieV on a few other platforms, so I just used it here. Mainly because when people see the name Bobbie, they tend to not even look at the spelling, and I assume that I am a guy. So, I was hoping that putting the Mrs. in front of my name would help. But sadly, not always lol.

We just moved to Anaheim, Ca from Corona, Ca a few months ago so I am getting used to the area. I worked for Rite Aid (formerly Thrifty/Payless Drug) for 36 years until they closed all the stores down this year. Sad and still kind of in shock since I have worked for them since I was 17, I'm trying to figure out what to do with my time. And I don't even remember how I stumbled across WhatNot, but here I am.

I do enjoy sharing things I love and helping when I can. If I know how to do something and someone wants to learn, then I am there to help. I have always been that way which is probably why I was with the same company for so long. When new programs came out, I was usually the first one to jump in feet first and figure out the most efficient way to use the tools that were introduced to us and find the work arounds to make our jobs easier. I feel the same way about WhatNot.

I am a Disney Fan, and we got to Disneyland often. Love that we are so much closer now. We also have passes to Knotts Berry Farm with the Meal and Drink plan, so we go to eat, walk around and people watch more than going on the rides lol.

I originally thought of selling on WhatNot to get rid of items we moved one our old storage unit to our new storage unit from 10 years ago lol. Mainly some Tupperware I have hanging around that is still new from when I was a Tupperware Consultant. That was my first show and went okay, so I am trying to build up my followers to have more than 1-5 people at a time because it makes it kind of boring when you are alone in the room by yourself lol.

Love Loungefly and started spending way too much money on Surprise Sets so I now probably have enough other bags and Loungeflys to do my own 30 Item Surprise Set, but I just don't have enough Followers that actually go to my shows to make it worth it without losing money or sitting there for hours trying to sell 30 spots. So, I will patiently wait till I grow enough or get on a good Raid Train.

So, for now my new love is Disney Doorables and Squishmallows which are cheaper to buy and smaller to store because Hubby says I am getting out of hand lol.
