❓ Do you know the most common shipping mistakes?

🚫Splitting up a bundle that is too large and then printing the same label for both boxes and shipping them both with the same tracking number. Not only is this wrong, but it can cause you to be investigated by Postal Inspectors, fined and even jailed.

🚫Using a Ground label on a Priority box.

🚫 Not using the correct packaging with a flat rate label.

🚫 Not changing your packaging dimensions when your package is over 12 x 12 x 12

❓Have you ever tried the “5 Method”?

Let me explain for those of you that don’t use this method.

Following these simple steps every day for one week can be very helpful to increase sales. And the number “5” can be changed depending on the level of seller that you are. Some people may choose “20“ for example

🟢 Visit 5 shows for at least 5 minutes each and chat within the shows without asking to advertise

🟢 Contact 5 previous buyers and ask them if you can share your next “huge show” with them

❓Did you know that just communicating with a person, can change your whole Whatnot algorithm?

A lot of sellers talk about “algorithm“… But what really affects it?

I’ve done a lot of research and talked to several Whatnot staff members about this. I have learned that simply communicating with a person, will start to show their shows in my feed. Mostly private message interactions, or visiting their show at least once.

When people say that “Whatnot is saturated” it may only be THEIR feed that makes it look that way.

Test it out… Focus on a specific person or category to see how your algorithm changes.

❓Did you know that you can network with local stores and get free shipping supplies and other stuff?

All it takes is a quick conversation with the manager of your local TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Target…. Let them know that you are an online reseller and you are looking for boxes to use for shipping. And then ask for permission to go in the back or dumpster and collect empty boxes.

You may not want to go dumpster diving, but this conversation can achieve several different things. once you start networking, exchange, contact information, managers will start putting things aside for you that they would have thrown out. This can include a lot of “disposables“ that they do not return to a warehouse but would have destroyed.

Test it out, and tried to work with at least one manager in your area.

❓ Are you standing in your own way of success?

We all have “things,” but sometimes those things become excuses — reasons we don’t go live or why we’re not where we want to be.

Decide what you truly want your Whatnot business to be: full-time, part-time, or just for extra cash. Then, take a real look at where you are. Are you aiming higher but not taking action? Are you waiting for the “right time”?

What’s holding you back — work, health, kids? Do you need to adjust your goal or your situation?

There’s no magic fix — YOU have to take action. If your situation can’t change, tweak your goals. Small steps forward are better than standing still.

As you already know, Whatnot, and hundreds of other apps had a major outage.

It may take a little bit of time to get all accounts back to normal. It’s advised to hold off from having any shows until you know that Whatnot is running without glitches.

I will not be doing any booster raids until Whatnot is glitch free.

🌟🌟CHALLENGE🌟🌟

Do you have what it takes to do the Whatnot Daily Challenge?

From now until December 21, go live daily. Even if you’re not selling anything, even if you have no time at all… Go live out on the go or in your car. Have items in your BIN and sell at least 1 item.

Use the attached challenge graphic and call your show “The Vizzuals Daily Challenge“ and I might find you and give you a booster raid. The graphic and name are not required for this challenge. All regular shows or raid trains go towards your daily show as long as you sell one item.

And remember… You can schedule 10 shows at a time. All you have to do is choose to repeat the Show daily under the date and time when your scheduling. And then choose the number of shows to be 10.
