❓ What is your "Why"? Why do you do what you do?

Reselling is my full time job at this time. ❓ What has been your proudest accomplishment as a seller?

For the first time in 20 years, I am listing consistently and seeing the results and growth. It's exciting!

❓ What has been your biggest mistake or learning moment?

Death Piles. Looking back, my biggest mistake was not being consistent with listing. It can't sell if it's not listed!

❓ How do you try to support or encourage other sellers?

I helped coordinate raid trains in 2023 and 2024 and supported a lot of sellers along the way with promotion, purchasing and gifting to chat! I try to pop into rooms and say hi when I can, but after spending a few multiple thousands (like $$,$$$) on the app in the last three years, I’ve had to pull back. Right now, I’m focused on working through my death piles and trying NOT to shop until I get caught up. As an impulsive person, the only way I can avoid buying is to not open the app, or be selling when I do! I really miss supporting my friends on a regular basis, and it does weigh on me, but those first couple of years I was spending way too much time and money on the app. I’m doing what I can, and just hope my Whatnot friends understand.

❓ What’s one tip you would give to someone just starting out on Whatnot?

Consistency and If it doesn't sell at auction, FACKING LIST IT! It's soooooo hard to go live and run items that don't sell but when I step back and think, items I list on eBay or Poshmark can take up to 90days or more to sell so why would we expect everything to sell in 1 livestream show?

❓ What is one feature you wish Whatnot would add, remove or update and why?

I would LOVE to be able to assign an SB (starting bid) and a fixed price Buy Now price so that my items can remain in the marketplace even if I also want to load them for an upcoming show!

❓ Talk about a favorite or funny memory from one of your shows or a show you watched as a buyer/seller.

After three years, I feel like it's impossible to list just one! So many favorite sellers, fun & funny memories from both my shows and others after three years!

❓ What is your current short or long-term goal that you currently have?

After stepping down from coordinating raid trains, and having so many death piles my goal is to keep listing but I am trying to figure out a show that works for me without derailing my listing goals. I have pivoted so many times over the last few months, I feel dizzy! I need to figure out how to make Whatnot work, it's really been a struggle for me.

❓ Where do you see Whatnot and/or yourself in 5 years?

5 years?! Hmmmm, I think if eBay gets their live selling going, I wouldn't be surprised if eBay buys Whatnot within the next 5 years? Who knows!

❓ If you could go back to Day-1 on Whatnot, what would you do different?

As @schwallysells has said - You can't be buying if you're selling so I'd be live as a seller more often. I was consistent only in the fact that I was on the app, chatting & buying, not selling. I signed up to sell and quickly lost track of that goal & got distracted.

❓ Anything else you'd like the community to know about you?

I love to laugh, and comedy’s always been my comfort zone. Honestly, after a few months of live thrifting, my chat basically diagnosed me with ADHD, and yeah... I guess that explains a lot. I’m still figuring it all out, but I’m doing my best.
