🌟🌟 QUESTION OF THE DAY 🌟🌟
❓ Did you know that you cannot use a Flat Rate label on a non–Flat Rate box? 📦⚠️
This is being shared incorrectly by at least one person on Whatnot, but it is false information. A Flat Rate label must be used on an actual USPS Flat Rate box or envelope. You cannot use your own box, use another USPS "Large Shipping Box", cover a box, or substitute different packaging with a Flat Rate label.
If you do this, USPS can adjust the postage and you will be charged after the fact. I see sellers panic because their accounts went negative after following this bad advice. Those “dinged” charges add up fast.
If you ever have questions about shipping labels or something someone is claiming on Whatnot doesn’t sound right, ask before you ship. I’m always happy to help clarify.
And if you see someone actively spreading false information, you can report it to:
Protect your account. Bad shipping info can cost you real money.
