Question of the Day December 6th
🌟🌟 QUESTION OF THE DAY 🌟🌟
❓Did you know that misusing USPS FREE shipping supplies can lead to fines, postage due, or even federal charges? 🚨
📦 Free USPS supplies are provided ONLY for shipping Priority Mail. Using them as filler inside other boxes, covering flat-rate boxes with poly mailers, turning them inside out, storing items in them, or using them as shelving is NOT allowed.
👮Under 18 U.S.C. § 1707, it is a federal offense to “purloin or embezzle any property used by the Postal Service, or appropriate such property to any use other than its proper use.”
⚖️ Many cases never go to court because they’re settled quietly. - Recently, a Whatnot seller was ordered to pay over $100,000 in an out-of-court settlement and was permanently banned from Whatnot for covering flat-rate boxes with polymailers and using USPS envelopes as padding - there are over 82 cases pending…

Hey Chrystal! 👋 I’m Becky — my Whatnot name is bosborn1071el, but my shop is LuvOnU Boutique (clearly didn’t think that one through 😂).
By day, I’m a Senior Paralegal in Regulatory Affairs for a big company here in KCMO. The last few years have been rough with some major health issues that knocked me down for a while, but I’m finally getting more good days than bad.
I found Whatnot when I needed something positive to focus on — and it’s been such a blessing! This little side hustle gives me joy, connection, and hopefully something that’ll help support our special needs daughter in the future (and maybe tackle a few of those medical bills too 😅).
It’s been a slow start because my health likes to test me, but I’m so thankful for this amazing community. Y’all seriously keep me motivated. 💛 One of our mottos is “We Rise by Lifting Others,” and I truly believe that.
